Our Story

From a Spare Parts Shop to a Trusted Agro-Distribution House

We had a humble beginning in 1974, retailing spare parts for two-wheelers and three-wheelers in Perinthalmanna. Leveraging his extensive knowledge of the rubber plantation sector, Mr. P.K. Kuruvilla expanded into retailing agricultural chemicals and fertilizers under the name M/s SOMAS.

Riding the wave of the Malabar Gulf boom, SOMAS grew manifold and shifted gears from retail to wholesale distribution across Malappuram and Palakkad.
